Personnal blog
This week was a big work week where we worked on our final exam project. Almost everyday of the week we worked to finish it by Tuesday. I, myself, am very close to finishing the final project. We also continued to work on our water color paintings in art. We needed to finish them by the end of Friday, which most of us did, and most did a very good job on it. Ms. Miller also had us finish all our our achieves so we wouldn't have a whole lot of missing grades at the end of the semester. Awesome week, hope for an exam week next week.

This week we worked on our proposals on our final exam project. I chose guitars, because it is something I play, and also along with that I was able to relate it in all of the subjects in I.L.A. We also created two paragraphs on our crystals that we made in science with Mr. Mechenich; they needed to include commas in order to get a 4 on the paragraphs. We also had to put commas, along with semicolons, into our 3 paragraphs with Mr. Reichle; they are on the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, and we are given a list of economic terms and must relate at least 5 in each paragraph. Awesome week, hope for an even better one next week.

This week we worked on our outlines for a presentation to the school board again. This time we are presenting about water and Arrowhead. To get additional information we talked with a few people that controlled or oversaw water in Hartland, and we were allowed to use their information they gave us in our presentations. Awesome can;t wait for Christmas next week.

This week we worked on our presentations that we are going to present to the school board again. This time we are making presentations about water and relating it to our organization we are given. We also, next week, are going to the sewage system of Hartland and we get to ask questions that we can add to our presentations. Also in art we are creating posters that are relating to our organizations as well. Our group is doing very well on the poster and are almost finished. Great week overall, hoping for a better one next week.

Personnal blog
This week was only 3 days long because of our thanksgiving break, and I'm having a great time with my family. This week we continued reading Of Mice and Men and took a writing assessment on a theme of the book. We also continued to work our skits of our scientists and presented them on Wednesday. I felt our group did pretty good, with the exception of me getting stuck on my third part. Otherwise great week and can't wait to return to school on Monday.

This week we worked on a skit for science where we studied famous scientists relating to matter. In our skit we created a story where Werner Heisenberg discovers what he is famous for and what would be done with his research. We also continued on our social studies government project and I have finally caught up to where we need to be. Next we have to do research on rivers and we have to read Of Mice And Men for language arts. Awesome week and I'm hoping for an even better, 3 day week next week.

This week we worked on the social studies project where we need to find the districts and other information relevant to where we live. Many of us had to retake the government quiz while the rest of us worked on the location part of it. We also worked on creating crystal structures out of clay in art, because we're working on creating actual crystals in science. We had a packet where we selected any crystal type we wanted and we created them by making basic shapes out of clay and used slip to combine them together. That was very fun and I can't wait till next week to continue on that.

This week we worked on or Career Evaluations where we chose any career we want and relate them to Science, Social Studies, and English. We also had to create pros and cons and a description of our job. We also started a new topic in Social Studies where we are reading a book about laws and the constitution and we have a quiz on chapter 3 on Monday, which I think is a little too early. Great week and hoping for a better one next week.

This week was great, being only three days. We prepared the letters and presentations that were to presented on Wednesday to the School Board about whether or not we should have 1 to 1 learning throughout the entire school. I feel that we all presented very well. I also was convinced that the Board was convinced that having 1 to 1 learning would be the better way to teach students. We also worked on our video productions in art on Monday and Wednesday. I think that all the videos will turn out very good, because we have put so much time and effort into them.

This week, Jace and I procrastinated a little bit about filming our commercial, and it came back to get us a little. We couldn't get much editing in and I hope it's enough. Also this week I actually read the rest of Acceptance and added a question into the book discussion thing. I thought it was an awesome week and I hope for an even better week with only 3 days after the weekend.

Measuring Blog
The difference between accuracy and precision is that accuracy is how close you are to your wanted target. Precision is the consistency of your outcomes of the test. Comparing an electronic balance and a triple-beam balance the electronic balance is more accurate, because it can measure into milligrams. The triple-beam balance is more precise because being less accurate two items that way a milligram apart will measure the same on a triple-beam balance. Significant digits are any numbers except zeros that are used to show the scale of the number. The mass of 2 Liters of water weighs about 2000 grams. What I learned about making measurements is what the difference is between accuracy and precision.

This week was very busy. We needed to finish video taping and find databases for our technology presentation. We also went to Mayfair Mall, which was very exciting, where we tested Apple products and learned about them so we could use that information in our technology presentation. I am also still having a little trouble with keeping up in Acceptance.

This week my group for the product testing researched on the iPhone 4 and the Droid X. We found lots of info, but we had some trouble with the reference page. In the end we fixed our problems and we are pretty sure we got it all right. I was having a little problem with the achieves, but I finished almost all of them. Also, I read all the chapters in Acceptance and I'll try to keep it up.

I think that this week was pretty good overall. I think that reading was a little difficult for me along with all of the achieves, since I have bad memory. I suggest that we should have a homework board where the students put all of our homework, along with the due dates, on it so we know our expectations for the week. I know if we had a homework board we would not forget our homework as easily, especially me. Otherwise great week and had fun with the project and recording.

College and Career Readiness
College and Career Readiness to me means choosing your favorite classes and activities and finding a college that fits both of those. It also means looking at jobs that apply to what I'm good at and what I like to do. We have used 21st century skills by using computers, Google Docs, nooks, Glogster, and blogs to complete our assignments. The most important skills to me are most likely Google docs, because being an Aerospace Engineer you would need to get ideas and instructions out to your company to get what needs to be done, done sooner and faster.

Ropes Course
I think that the ropes course really helped build friendships and trust. it allowed us to really show our potential of trust and skill with needing to hold someone up or get across the course. plus the beging activities were fun and helped build trust as well.
Classroom Details
I think having the projection screen and teaching area in the back area because we dont need as much room for teaching than studying. Also having the study area and couches in the front with the windows shows the school how excellent our classroom is and we get more room to move around. also when we need to leave to get somethin or use the bathroom we dont get in the way of the class session.
